Interview with M. Munkhzul, the face of the Dancran brand
Happy holidays to all our beautiful ladies! In this blog, we are sharing an interview with M. Munkhzul, the face of our Dansran brand's "Pearl" collection.
Dansran Brand: - First of all, happy International Women's Day. Thank you for accepting our invitation and coming here today.
M. Munkhzul: - Thank you. Happy holidays to all of you as well.
D.B: - Could you please introduce yourself?
M.M: - My name is Mishig Munkhzul. I am married and have two children. I am a pharmacist by profession. I graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Havana in Cuba in 2007. I worked for many years as a quality assurance manager in a pharmaceutical factory. I founded the Pharmaceutical Graduates Association NGO in 2013, where I have been responsible for organizing continuous training and handling foreign relations. Additionally, I have been working as the Executive Director of the Mongolian Skyrunning Association NGO since 2022, where I strive to improve the association's management and ensure the continuous operation of training and supporting athletes to achieve success at an international level. I also run three cafes, where I act more as a manager overseeing the management systems rather than just a director.
M.M: - My hobbies are hiking and trail running. To go hiking, you need to wake up very early. By planning early, waking up early, and going for a hike, I can still get through my daily work without missing anything. Similarly, for trail running, by planning early, I don't lose time for my work. I follow the principle of going to bed by 10 p.m. at the latest. Since I do most of my work online, I don't waste time in traffic, and if necessary, I walk to get things done. I plan this high volume of work very well, and by keeping my calendar well-organized, I am able to complete all my planned tasks and find time for my hobbies.
D.B: - You speak several languages fluently. In your opinion, what has influenced your language learning the most, and what should one pay attention to?
M.M: - Since I studied in Cuba, I learned Spanish at an academic level. During my time there, I also studied French at the Alliance Française language center. I learned English just by talking to my student friends. Now, to keep my languages fresh, I read news, watch movies, read articles, and books in Spanish, French, and English. I might have learned quickly because I just spoke without feeling shy at all. I believe that in order to learn a language, you just have to talk regardless of mistakes.
D.B: - You are a businesswoman. How did you come up with your business idea? Where did you start?
M.M: - I opened my cafe in 2015. There were many expensive restaurants or tea houses in our city, but there were few cafe-bars where young people and foreigners in Mongolia could go in, have a light meal, have a beer, and leave, so I opened one.
D.B: - It's impossible to imagine a woman without jewelry. What is your understanding and opinion about jewelry?
M.M: - One should not look at jewelry just as an accessory; it represents a woman's authority, strength, and also her independence. Jewelry increases a woman's self-confidence. For me, I like to use jewelry in my daily life in a very simple yet elegant way. However, I wear Dansran brand jewelry when I go to see a show or attend an event to look luxurious and graceful.
